Shahr e Gorbeh ha 2 (شهر گربه ها ۲) is a 2023 Iranian fantasy family film directed, written, and produced by Seyed Javad Hashemi. The story follows ‘Gorofessor’, a scientist conducting various experiments on one of the cats from ‘Gorbestan’. His aim is to discover a method to extend the lifespan of cats through botanical research. The ruler of the City of Cats, upon learning of Gorofessor’s capabilities through his advisor ‘Tizgorbeh’, seeks to employ him to prolong his own life. Consequently, Gorofessor accepts the offer and heads to the City of Cats, unaware of the challenges that await him. Meanwhile, the cats of Gorbestan, weary of the strictness of their local police, contemplate migrating to the City of Cats, oblivious to the potential dangers that lie ahead. The film features performances by Alireza Khamseh, Farhad Aeesh, Yousef Teymouri, Maryam Saadat, and Mir Taher Mazloumi.
